WHERE IT BEGAN
They met at work—but not the kind of work you’d expect. It was one of those perfect Las Vegas nights at the Downtown Summerlin Concert Series. Logan was overseeing the bar at La Neta, while Joey was managing the event itself. One thing led to another, and eventually at the very last day of the month and half long series, Joey worked up the nerve to ask Logan out on a sushi date. They’ve been going to sushi religiously ever since.
Joey’s first impression? “She was everything—blonde hair, blue eyes, confident, charismatic... the kind of girl you don’t think you’ll ever get the chance to date.” For Logan, there was an instant attraction to Joey. He was friendly, incredibly easy to talk to, and 100% her type. Their connection grew naturally—more concerts, more conversations, more excuses to be around each other. Flirting turned into real feelings, and suddenly it all just clicked.
The early days were magic. Nonstop butterflies. Late-night sushi, weekend trips, plans with friends, meeting each other’s families, and the kind of conversations that felt like they’d known each other forever. It was exciting, effortless, and full of “how did we get so lucky?” moments. Joey still can’t believe he ended up with Logan Beierschmitt—the girl everyone knows and everyone loves.
They knew from date one. Something just felt right. Since then, their story has unfolded with laughter, love, and a shared obsession with good food, spontaneous travel, their two golden retrievers, and time with the people they love most. These days, they’re inseparable—and still just as in love as they were from the very beginning.

OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY
The plan was a spontaneous getaway—just the two of them. A weekend to unwind before the chaos of the holidays, full of wine tastings and quality time. What Logan didn’t know? Joey had a very different kind of plan.
They arrived at Leoness Cellars in Temecula, California. The day had not gone smoothly—flight delays, hours stuck on the tarmac, major anxiety about making it in time (especially since Joey knew family and friends were secretly waiting nearby). Whatever could go wrong, did go wrong. But looking back, it only made the moment more unforgettable—and led to a few well-earned apologies from Logan.
By midday, the skies were clear, the setting was beautiful, and the nerves started to fade. They were led on a private tour that ended on a lawn overlooking the vineyard—just the two of them. No crowd, no distractions. Just Joey, finally catching his breath, speaking from the heart about how hard the morning had been… and how what he was about to do was the easiest decision of his life. Then, he got down on one knee.
A hidden photographer captured every second—including the complete shock on Logan’s face. It was real, raw, and perfect.
Afterward, Leoness gifted them a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board, giving them a moment to soak it all in as a newly engaged couple. Logan wanted to start calling loved ones, but Joey (in full proposal mastermind mode) gently suggested they wait just a little longer.
Because the day wasn’t over yet.
At the next winery stop, Logan thought it would be just them again—until she walked into a surprise celebration with their closest friends and family waiting. Even those who couldn’t be there joined on FaceTime, making the moment even more special.
